Polish development studio Starward Industries, founded by a team of developers who worked on famous games like The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt and Dying Light, announced their exciting new project Dante’s Ring. This game promises an unconventional action-adventure experience, combining elements of arcade, role-playing, and survival, offering players a unique and thrilling journey.

Last year, Starward Industries released one of their best games, the classic sci-fi space game The Invincible, based on an award-winning novel. This game achieved great success and showcased the studio's ability to deliver distinctive and innovative gaming experiences.

During the Golden Joystick Awards 2024 ceremony, where winners were announced yesterday, a one and a half minute trailer for Dante’s Ring was shown. This trailer depicted a desolate world filled with extraordinary natural phenomena, where players take on the role of a brave explorer trying to survive and save people and animals in a hazardous volcanic environment. Besides natural elements, the protagonist will also face human beliefs, social conflicts, and inner ghosts.

The game promises to offer a new approach to gaming, avoiding traditional combat scenarios and immersing players in an enchanting world full of dangers. Players will gather resources, overcome rough terrains, use various tools, some old, to complete missions that may affect the storyline. Dante’s Ring is expected to launch in 2025 as an early access version on Steam, with a full release planned for 2026. Currently, the game supports only the English language, according to its description on the Steam store.
