The game takes place in an alternate version of Earth devastated in the 1980s by a mysterious catastrophe known as “The Change.” This event transformed most of humanity into monstrous beings called “Orphans” and left the world in ruins. You play as “The Traveler,” a secret agent working for an organization known as “The Collective,” and your mission is to journey through time fractures in hopes of rescuing victims of the disaster. Every decision you make can change the outcome of the story in unexpected ways.

The game shifts between two key timelines: 1980s Poland under military lockdown due to a deadly outbreak, and a completely devastated future. Cronos is a third-person survival horror game that leans heavily into tactical combat and psychological tension. Enemies can merge with other corpses if not burned, making them stronger and harder to kill. There are no difficulty options—just one intense experience reminiscent of classic horror games. Resources are scarce, and every bullet counts. You’ll have to plan each move carefully, knowing one wrong step could cost you everything.

What makes Cronos stand out is how deeply it draws from legendary horror and sci-fi influences—titles like The Thing, Dark, Silent Hill, and 12 Monkeys.
